Blogging Update

As some have noticed, I have taken a break from my personal blog. I have also stopped blogging as the Denver Local Expert over at PlanetEye. PlanetEye was a fun gig, but they have restructured their once generous payment system so that I would hardly be getting paid at all there.

All of the while, I have been contributing to the blog at AskMrCreditCard. I have actually learned a lot about the credit card and banking industries while producing lengthy posts nearly every day. If you don't currently read it, I highly recommend that you check it out.

I am now ready to resume some more blogging here on Steele Street.

Welcome to Steele Street

For some time now, I have enjoyed reading blogs, reading about blogs, and learning what makes a good blog. Now it is time to start my own. I have several ideas on what would be interesting to talk about. It boils down to three subjects that I enjoy, Politics, Consumer issues, and Travel/Aviation. I have even considered starting three blogs, but it is best not to get ahead of myself here.

My goal is to develop my writing skills, to share topics that I find interesting, and to promote healthy debates.

I also want to leave things relatively impersonal. I will not be sharing family secrets, the lives of my friends, or what I did on Tuesday.
